I too will be starting my second H9 Ultimate. Just a little FYI you might want to paint your gear to keep it from heating up in the sun.

Any of you guys have a good suggestion for a winter project in the 50cc size? I already have a Wildhare edge 540. Built a Goldberg Extra 90 size last winter and it filled the time so I would like to build again.

Check out the Carden Cuda. They have them in stock now I think. I'm seriously considering building one of these after the plane I have my DA-50 in is "retired".

Im building a 35% Giles currently. Getting it framed up. Thinking about building a 1/3 scale Balsa USA Cub starting in the spring, not sure. Also have some control line competition planes on the building board.

The plans are from Bob Godfrey but I am making some changes as I go.As far as the motor it will be a DA 150.I do need some stock mufflers for it if anyone has some they need to get rid of.I am making the struts now and will soon have the top wing in place.I cant wait to get all the ults together and in the air at one time!!!!

Hey Ryan, are you allowed to fly the big ones at your field any longer?

Hey Mark, You can still fly big airplanes at Sacramento field. We just have a restricted flight zone now. We aren't supposed to fly past the road where you first come in the field on the dirt road. And there is a pole over by the mountain where there is a house that got a complaint but thats out pretty far. I can still fly my 40%edge at the aerobats no problem, and there are some others flying 50cc planes there.
