Nishuko,
The plane is an ARF and doesn't have plans, but you can download the instruction manual from Horizon Hobby, [link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo/Files/EFL2075-manual.pdf]...HERE...[/link]
Also, they are releasing a similar-sized Edge in the coming months.
Take care,
Brett

Hi Nishuko!
Try here:

I don`t know about weigth. I just resize this draw and try to modify it for small engine. Original has 1981cm or 78 in wingspan. 10 pounds weigth is equal 4350 grams. I try to decrease drawing more than twice. I think 900 mm (35,4 in) will be good for small plane.

I test flew mine today with an OS CV .15 with 8-4 APC. Flew great. It was raining though so I did not get much time with it. started getting cold! Engine combo seemed perfect. Plenty of power. I need to move the CG back I think as I had a hard time getting it to spin real flat. I am at the 3 1\8" mark with the wing in the forward location.

I dont know[] I just planning to built little Katana with 074 Norwel. My thinking about weight and dimension is: 17-20 oz and about 35,4 in wingspan. Some people told me about some mistakes in drawings. It is different scaling for this drawings. Try to resize some sheats.

First I used a piece of 1\16th aircraft ply and traced it around the front end. I glued this on to make the front end stronger. The mount I used was either a Dave Brown or a Hayes I forget but there are many .15 size radial mounts on the market. I have now flown my plane several times and I think the CV .15 is almost too much power. I have seen the wings flex so I will have to be careful not to overspeed in a dive. If I were better at 3d I think this engine will hover this plane.

I second everything you just said in my experience with my conversion except I used 1/8" ply. You do have to pay attention to throttle management.

RE: Mini Funtana + OS15 = Awesome little plane!!
I have the m.f and i put a os max 15cv-dfx(k2) engine on mine with a 9X4 prop, and a electron 6 flight pack, with a 4 cell square nicad... and this thing will do everything you can throw at it.. I beefed my firewall up with 3/16 stock and added some bracing across the middle where the wing tube runs through.... and it seems to be holding up so far...I am running a 2oz. fuel tank and it seems to run for ever on that...I have the 90 funtana and the mini flies just like it, and way easier to transport... I would recommend this plane to anyone it is awesome converted to nitro....!

RE: Mini Funtana + OS15 = Awesome little plane!!
I just purchased a converted Funtana-Mini. It has an OS FS-20 and from my readings so far its not going to do 3D with this setup. Any suggestions for another engine?

Quick question for the group.
I really like the idea of using a small glow engine in a mini-funtana.
All I have is standard reciever and servos.
Using standard servos and rec. -vs- micro servos is about 4-6oz.
What kind of flight performance could I expect using standard servos and reciever
powering it with a .15 size engine.
Will the servos fit?

The wings are too small and the extra weight out there would ruin flight characteristisc severely.
Will it be too heavy?
Any one else using standard servos in this plane?

RE: Mini Funtana + OS15 = Awesome little plane!!
Oh man... I just stumbled onto this thread while searching for a suitable plane for my little 15LA.
Turns out my LHS has a old Funtana just like this one collecting dust.
I was looking at it very hard the other day trying to figure out if a 15 would work well on it... I got my answer here.
I think I can grab it for about $60
One thing I'm worried about... thrust line and angle.
Originally, its a stick mount, with no markings for thrust... I can fool with the thrust angle till it flys right, but the initial off-set/mounting position has me balking at the project.
Anyone have thoughts (or measurements) on this one?
Jeez... This plane looks goooood!

I think it would be tough to use standard servos in this plane. You could get away with the rx, likely, but the servos are way bigger than it was designed for. Unless maybe if you ripped it apart and installed them in the wing area somehow. just doesn't seem like a good solution though. Spend the $80 bucks (shop carefully) on some Hitec HS55's

The .15 conversion sounds fun, but no vertical? My lekkie version will accelerate vertically from a hand launch, rolls several times a second, hovers well, lands on a dime, does great knife edge loops (better than I do them) and can be flown in a baseball diamond, although more room is more fun. Full power flight time nearly 7-8 minutes, with throttle management much more of course, IOW plenty. This is not a suburban front yard aircraft.
