HOW SHOULD I SPEND $1500 IN R/C???
Hey everyone!! I need some help! I have been in R/c ever since I was 5 years old. I got my first gas truck when I was 10--NITRO HAWK by Traxxas(oh, Iam 30 now). In my stable of cars --I have a LST mach .26----savage Picco .27-----Mayhem buggy .26 ----nitro xcell .18----GS storm .21.
I have been stashing some cash to do something extreme--I have done just about everything and have just about every type of truck/buggy.
I have been thinking about the fg mt-5 26cc truck but haven't seen one run---but I think right now thats the biggest/extreme it gets-
Should I fork out 1,400 on a 1/5 scale monster Or should I make my stable of cars deeper with some truggies (mayhem st) or something?
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND $1,500 ?????

I personally don't think nitros come close to comparing to these cars. I had an rc10gt that looks like a toy compared to my FG Marder. I think you will be extremely happy with a 1/6 scaler.
BTW The biggest/baddest ride would probably be one of those new era or custom made 1/4 scale monster trucks. They are HUGE! (and much more expensive)

For $1500 you are not going to get something "extreme" but it will give you a start into some type of large scale and as time goes by you can make it into something awesome or just keep saving until you have enough

I own 6 nitro's and since i got my gaser's I never use the nitro's anymore at all...they are after run oiled up and put away....gaser's are way more fun and alot better. Just keep telling yourself this...no more $25/gallon for fuel, No more constant tuning, no more contantly checking engine temps and there is no bigger thrill than a gaser tossin a 14 foot roost of dirt all over some nitro at the local track and then laughing at all the nitro boy's refueling every 10 minutes while your tearin the place up

Its a 1/4 scale MT with a skellenger quick change rear end. The tires are over 16" tall! This is the truck the new era MT was based off. New era used 2 shocks on each wheel instead of 1. New era even used the same shocks!
