me stampede project help

Default me stampede project help

i woild like to get help on my stampede i just traded a nitro engine for a rtr stampede from a friend so im starting my crawler pede and would like to know shassis and componits and can i use two 55 t lathe motors on a traxxas xl esc and im thinking of using a clod chassis and 4 link bars because all the chassis hast to hold the reciver and maby the batt and esc so what do you think pics of the truck but i dont want a jeep i want a ford bronco body

that thing already looks pretty good and capable.. what kind of mods do you want to do?

2 lathe motors on the XL esc... i have no clue... lol

thats not going to work, you are going to ned to get a super rooster and with the stock pede gearcases, you wont have a chance at mounting 2 motors..too bad a 2wd crawler wont get you very far up but real crawlers will.

um you should look at the pics better its made out of two stampede rearends and thats not my truck i want to build one like it an wonders what chassis to use and i will never go back to a novak esc after what thay did to my evader st and realy want know about the esc

and the truck im getting is stock and im getting a roller kit on ebay that comes with two tranny so if i screw one up i still have anether and what would i need to copie that truck it just looks like he used a clod chassis and 4 links and put a plate under the arms to make it solid axle i might just run two 55 t lathe motors in series would that work or do i have to put them in parrilel i dont get that can someone help me

Sorry for answering this late. i was currently out off this hobby.
it was really fun building my Pede Crawler 4wd and 4ws.
Everything is custom made from the chassis, servo mounts and to the links.
i did'nt make a plan for this project.
i built this as i go on until it performs like a regular crawler. hehe.

dont know bout clod chassis. but i used two rear shock tower graphite.

well by the looks of yours i can just use a clod chassis and links i mean it only holds a batt and esc an reciver right just like a clod look at the chassis in the first pics thats the one my friend made and he is selling them on ebay dirt cheap

you shouldnt have any probs with two 55t lathe motors on xl esc it should be a good crawler you will have to turn the independent suspension solid just use a solid link inplace of the shocks with some time and work you can make a nice crawler

thanks but going to stay stock till i get three more stampedes im starting to race at my lhs so im going to mod this one with a super rooster esc and a 15 turn motor and when i get the next two i will be doing the modes as like the thread he posted
