RE: YS 50ST heli engine
No, we don't have either engines or manuals available, and will not have any for the foreseeable future. YS has suspended production of the 50 heli until further notice.
When you need service or parts for your engine, they will have to be obtained in Japan, where the engine was purchased.

RE: YS 50ST heli engine
I think they have figured out that they can't make much money on a high volume/low dollar engine. YS is a small company that is not geared toward high production of any of their line. Right now they are heavily backordered on the 160DZ which they can make reasonable returns on. I think the engine will again be available, but it will be a fill -in when their other engine sales are slower. It will probably never be available in the quantities necessary to meet the demands of the US market, consequently it will always have limited availability........unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply Dave. Makes sense. I'm still sold on the YS and its reliability, may have to look for a used one or from CyberHeli.
