Hi Phil,Happy B Day.
How many are going Colt next week?what are you bringing.
Hera are a few more pics of Bernd's Air World,s FW190, sadly it was lost at the weekendhe had just finished with all the scale parts on her, and was flying in nice and slow,to slowly for the camera when it dropped a wing
He is already building another FW190.
All Bernd's Scale parts and new 1/5 P47 should be available through Tigermodels.
Cheers Graham

Dear Nigel
My Sons and my Grandson came round last night it was difficult to get a go on the computer.
They all wanted to play it. I think I might need more ram I only have 256Mb, it stutters slightly.
So hopefully I can get a go tonight.
Regards Phil G.

Dear Smudger
I also hope we get some really good weather it would make a change.
I will post on this thread next Friday afternoon the weather forecast for Sunday 23/10/05
as predicted by Coltishall met. If forecast is rain or high winds across the runway
I will cancel to the following week. Hopefully it won't come to that.

RE: For those who love World War Two Fighters
Dear Rifraf
Thanks for your kind words regarding this thread, your warbirds look very nice to me and you are
quite right to be proud of them.
I take it they are all Arf's most people these days just do not have the time to build complicated
scale models. The Arf's have improved greatly over the last two or three years.
I have flown several different warbird arf's for club members and they all flew faultlessly.
I would rather see one warbird be it arf, kit or plan etc than twenty sports models.
Keep your pics coming please.
Regards Phil G.

Here's a shot of my Tempest Mk V landing at Chatham during the Canadian Nat's this year. I got third in sport scale, and had a blast glide-bombing for my scale maneuver. Unfortuantely, one of the bombs is now in a combine somewhere.....
VERY windy day! But, wind was right down the runway.
Thanks to Palmer Johnson for the great photo!

Guys this is a great thread!! I love all the planes you have shown. I don't have a giant warbird yet (waiting on the H9 Big P-47) but my pride and joy is my world models 46 mustang done up in correct markings for "The Flying Undertaker" Its over 2 years old, reliable as ever, small, fast and won me my first ever trophy at a Fun Scale interclub comp

RE: For those who love World War Two Fighters
Hi guys, some great looking warbirds in this thread. I am new to giant scale and have just begun a Jerry Bates plans F8f Bearcat (1/5 scale 80") Is anyone familiar with these plans or this plane. I'm still trying to decide on the engine and where to look for retracts.
