Default yak 40 kit

This is my first real kit build.. well balsa kit that I really want to finish. I am 15 years old and need any tips I can get.. build countless foamies and arfs but this is a first. I bought this kit a year ago but continued to shy towards arfs but now I think I am ready.

I'll actually be starting one tomorrow (birthday present). Don't worry about it, it should be an easy build. I'll let you know how it goes. Good luck.

Thanks! bending the balsa around the airframe.. the notches (kerfs) with wetting and bending make a nice curve.. will use epoxy to hold this on. is it ok if I post my build here? or would you rather I placed it somwhere else?

still working on the fuse today taking my time. Soon I will need a hardware pack like the one you omp guys sell. Wheel axels would be a good addition though. maybe eeven fuel tubing.

we have the hardware packs in stock and they offer pretty good savings versus buying the parts separately.
