says door type mount in the great translated instruction manual, also says clutch slice w/spring instead of clutch shoes, its not their fault, their new to the hobby so cut them some slack.

they dont write up the manuals... redcat racing doesn't make the cars/trucks. Some other chinese company does, and redcat racing resells them here under his name.

yeah well, if you peeps are willing to spend 50 bucks on a piece of aluminum that probably isnt even 6061 T4 aluminum when the vehicle is 220 bucks... go nuts (using a arms for example). For that price, it should be 7075 T6 aluminum.

well bro, its probably made by mrp since its for the rs4 m2, not made from redcat. Second its their money and if they like their rc then so be it, who are you to judge what people do with their rc, to me i wouldnt spend the $ on it and have posted it several times but i would not belittle someone.

K, so how much did you pay for those? GPM makes those mounts too, you can snag those steering "knuckles" for $9.99 and I think they are 6061 T6 aluminum... pretty hard to break those for steering knuckles.
They have a whole steering assembly that might fit the truck if anyone confirmed that... all aluminum with slick bearings for $10.99

Thats the only suspension part I've brokem. Twice on the right side. The first time I understand , the second time I don't. I was buzzing through the grass and it just snapped.

for an even cheaper repair, use the direct MT2 plastic part. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFYT3&P=Z

You still have to realize by adding aluminum... the stress that used to be on that plastic part, is now spead somewhere else onto the chassis... probably the hub and front suspension arm.
