I feel the tension myself.
Today would have been a great flying day here but I had an eye exam scheduled (which was later cancelled when the Dr. called in sick) and I am now at work. Comittments and work will keep me off the field tomorrow but Sunday and Monday both look like a go (if nothing else happens and my instructor is up for it)
I can't believe how anxious I am to get into the air

Yep, another 2 exciting days of trying to keep the students from killing their planes. Quite the challenge sometimes. It's worth it though, in the long run, when they finally see the light. Some listen to what you have to say and others? Well, you may as well be talking to the bumper on your car. [:@]

Oh well, that's why instructors get the big bucks. Oh wait, that's right, we don't get paid. WAAHHHH!! []

j/k I enjoy teaching.

Yes, it is going to be Saturday! Maybe I can get my first flight in. Every time we try, the wind picks up, and stops me from learning. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Isnt wyoming great?

Planes without props? [X(] Maybe I'll have to look into a slope soarer, it would be fun to be able to get in some flights while I'm here.

Chuck if you want a cheap sloper try this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXELS9&P=Z

It's a slinger wing set, just glue it together, slap some wing tips on it and drop in a rx batt and a couple servos. Basically indestructable and dirt cheap.

Aw poor Ken

It's an all R/C weekend here too. Tomorrow is club clean up day as well as pouring a slab for the Heli guys to practice their hovering on instead of doing it in the middle of the runway when planes are trying to fly[:@]. Can't wait to get that all squared away !! We'll do some flying too of course. Then Sunday is the club monthly meeting & flying all day before & after. Woo Hoo!! I too have everything on the chargers. I plan to try out my new AirfoilZ Yak this weekend. Should be a lot of fun.

I honestly feel sorry for you pilots over there. We average about 35 to 40 inclement days a year, here where i live. so i fly the rest of them. A cold morning is usually around 20 degrees, a windy day is around 15mph. The only problem is the amount of fuel i use in a year, averaging 6 to 8 flights a day flying my Excelleron 90. So my suggestion to you all, is to migrate to sunny Queensland in Australia for your winter months, and stormy seasons

Just think of it as an extention to the building season.

Chuck,
A true modeler/builder NEVER stops building!!!!!!! no matter what time of the year it is!!!!

This really is true for me, I do build year round. Here in Oklahoma the heat in July and August really makes the end of the day uncomfortable for flying, and on top of that the sun is in our eyes at the end of the day so we usually try to fly in the morning. So that leaves evenings for building!!
