Default The New Redcats

Got the pic from Anthonys Hobby shop. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy but he does have a pic of the new Cat's. My friend @ work ordered a Hurricane pro from this guy 2 weeks ago and hasn't gotten it. Hasn't even got an email that it shipped. If the pic's are true looks like some nice aluminum upgrades for the Volcano.

Please do not shop at Anthony Hobbies. My friend never recieved his car and has filed a dispute through PayPal to get his money back! Read the other posts in this thread!

Mmm... those all look so sexy *drool* [sm=thumbup.gif]

I might get myself that volcano when it finally comes out. I've wanted a truck to just run stuff over with.
But yeah apparently that anthony guy has gone pretty rotten. I don't know exactly what the case is but apparently his ebay user id has been cancelled and no ones getting anything from him. It sucks to have one crappy dealer put a bad wrap on a whole line of cars. Oh well.

guys these weren't meant to be advertised yet, but since you have them already, there are a couple of upgraded versions on the volcano and the tornado with aluminum parts, there is a 1/8 truggy in there, also a 1/16 nitro model, but they will be released sometime in july i think, not completely sure

I would have to agree with you one million % on that statement.
This guy is nothing but a scoundrel. I would not advise anyone to do business with this guy. I ordered Hurricane Pro from him on Tuesday may 9 and its been nothing but nightmare. He told me that they were on the docks at customs and would be available by friday may 12. I waited until the following monday no email check is website and saw the pictures of the buggy. I called I email him no answer. Ten days went buy still nothing. I said to hell with this crook I filed a claim with paypal on the 22 and escalated it to a claim the next day, because all paypal does is do the same thing I was trying to do for almost 2 weeks! tried to contact him. So know Paypal gets involve and they put a claim against him. Paypal email me and said if he does not respond by June 2 they would pay me back. A couple days before june 2 he finally emailed me with some sorry a** story. Now it gets even worst. He didn't bother to contact paypal until the last minuet. As they were waiting for him to give an explanation as to the where abouts of my item or refund. If he had not reply to paypal I would have gotten my money back already . By him doing this my refund is delayed and now I have to wait another 7 days until the funds become available in is account. So even to get my refund this guy is still trying to stick it to me. Now I have to wait for the money and hope that I can find a good and honest dealer to get my pro.

Sorry for the long rambling but I just wanted to get the word out. If you are longing for a headache then deal with this guy. STAY AWAY !!!!!

This guy is as honest and truthfull as a late night infomercial. ie. Robert Tilton ministries [:'(]

Sorry not to be nitpicky but where's the antennae? And If I'm looking correctly, there's no longer an actual box but rather just some plastic plates to keep the dirt off?

Oh and thanks for the pic

it seems like the new generation redcats are going to be showing their teeth to some other animals of the hobby lets see how the clutch and gears come out to be and of course.....the price.
the volcano looks realy improved! it looks like it is wider too! aluminum buckles! good idea, now the aluminum arms make more sense... also the shock towers look the same as they were, are they going to handle the chalenge? ....next on redcats gone wild

Popper, the battery is held in by a plate, but the receiver is fully enclosed in its own box. the top of the upper plate just makes the top of the box.

Also if you'll notice, the all-aluminum Volcano and Tornado have Team Infinity .18s, instead of the VX18 in the normal Tornado that I showed ya

Yeah, that is a lot for a 1/16 truck. A 4wd Losi Lst costs 200. That's a 1/16 twin electric stadium truck.

I've seen one of the 1/16 nitro buggys run, I think they were made by a company named Acme, they look like a ton of fun. I have a mini lst with some aluminum hop ups, it is a lot of fun but when your battery runs down you are out of commission till the next pack comes off the quickcharger.I have 5 batteries for the mini lst and get about 15 min max run time depending on what I am doing. The nice thing about the mini lst is you can run it in the house and chase your cats around and or dogs. The 1/16 nitro would be great outside and a .05 would be plenty of power for something that size, the video I found of the buggy run was extremely quick.

Hello Eric, I have a question that really doesn't have anything to do with the post, but considering that you know about Redcat, I have a simple question. I bought and installed a Redcat Tune Pipe with Joint (81082) for my Hurricane. Beside the difference in appearance, is this an upgrade or the same exhaust as stock? If you have any info, please respond. dabo12367
