#02014 is the plastic steering arm's part number.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. this is false advertising on his part since Redcat carries no aluminum parts for the 1/10 cars at the moment.

No, It wasn't false advertising. He was actually going to manufacture the aluminum steering arms himself from scratch and sell them.
I think he's dumped the idea since then because of the new front end design.

EDIT: Oh woops, I thought you were talking about topspeedtoys but I just saw that auction and realized you were talking about the online seller. Sorry.
And on that note i think you got ripped off man. Those look like some gpm steering arms for the mt2.
These are them right here: [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6051836004&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT]Steering Arm[/link]
They also have the c-hubs here: [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/GPM-HPI-MT2-Alloy-Front-C-Hub-8-Deg-4-BALL-BEARINGS_W0QQitemZ6064196346QQihZ009QQcategoryZ340 63QQcmdZViewItem]C-hub[/link]

Those c hubs are nice because they come with the bearings that will fit those steering arms.
They aren't a direct bolt on but pretty close. You'll need some new screws and i think a spacer for the c-hubs.

Those may indeed BE the parts that we're going to get...but to be selling them under the Redcat name when we don't even have those in the warehouse is just BS IMO.

oh well:P he's sellin our cars too, lol

BTW-the new front end design does not mean the old cars are discontinued, or that we're not gonna carry parts for 'em. we still have 'em, and we're still gonna sell em

yea... it would be great if Redcat would manufactor aluminum parts... becuse they wouldn't break as easy.... and alot more ppl would buy to... so if redcat thinks about makin aluminum steering arms and door type mounts... it would be perfict... and btw... I seen those steering arms like days bacl... the gap looks a little deep for there the bearing goes... I had that prob tryin to by HPI steering arms and got home and drilled the mouting hols and threaded them... but then realized... was to deep of a gap... the smaller bearing falls right through to the other bearing... so yea it would really be great if more aluminum parts came out on the shelf...

No problem man. So those bearings that come with the c-hub fit the aluminum steering arms?

no those C hub bearings are for the C hub, they fit around the screws and make turning really easy.
i had to buy 5mmx11mm bearings for steering arms.
but it's a nice set up, less to break.
i had found a cracked steering arm when i took it apart.
now i need to find a good price on aluminum A arms
