Hey MrCheeze, maybe if you spray a layer of white under the black part, the true color will come out... they do that sometimes to bring the colors to "life"
oh, and I love the bug man!!!! good job!

Thanks man, I was thinking of using white under the purple, but i just decided to spray green over it and see if that did anything, which it didn't. I was just in a hurry to get it all together too, so i didn't want to take another trip to the hobby store, i still like the black though.

yes diti, you are correct, when you use the transparent colors, candy colors you have to back them up with white or silver. The body looks great though, matches the rims too. very good job.

i own both, i would say the volcano is better, the tornado xp strips gears all the time, no matter what you do, i have tried it all and have been in the hobby a long time. i ran at least 20 tanks of fuel in the volcano befor it stripped its gears which i can deal with. the truck can run in grass where the buggy has a hard time. you can use the truck on and off road and take pretty nice jumps with the truck where they buggy is going to bottom out on any decent jump. Just my opinion though
