OK I read this entire post looking for the correct carbon landing gear to get. And I'm still confused. Is it the graphtec 33% edge gear I should get? I can't measure my gear as the plane is 100 miles away at the field. Thanks

i had the graphtec 33% aeroworks edge carbon gear on my edge. i just recently had a sort of a rough landing and the carbon has seperated rendering the gear useless. i have put the stock gear on now as i dont want to keep paying for the graphtec one.
my edge has easily done 500+ flights so it did last a long time but the first rough landing and its shagged. i am going to a 40% extra 260 next so i am not interested in paying for another carbon gear.

yup this is the same gear I used also...
Provides for significantly less prop clearance but this should not be an issue with tarmac strip and "normal" landings..
I chop the motor on mine on finals just to be certain that my investment in a carbon prop is not prematurely wasted !

Some pics that might be of interest........... getting familiar with it now and I agree with those that say it is a good combo of IMAC and 3D... better in that respect to what I expected...

the centre pair of bolts are quite close to the edge but its workable - when you cut the u/c in half you get about a 10 mm space between the legs inside.

I need some help from you guys. I have been trying to get some parts from X-treme and can't get a resposnse. If anyone can help me get some parts for the 2.6m please help. I need a cowl and the canopy for this bird. I would like to get some extra canopies 3 if possible. and the cowl for the Fantasy black and green checkers.

I would like to know when the engine will break in with the nx 27*10. Which prop do you advice me to make 3d. I am thinking about a mejlik 28*10? Off course it's for the da100.

I have had no luck finding landing gear for this plane.. I don't care if its aluminum or FG...
Tryed BVM and Planesplus.
All test flights of the VPP have stopped... Any help would be great..

Have just put the bearings in the rudder and elevator with carbon hinge pins. It removed all the slop.

The bearings are 3 mm ID & 5mm OD. Flanged bearings.. Then run 3mm Carbon rods as the hinge pins...
