Default I've been wondering...

I've been wondering this for a while now, what are they talking about when they call a prop "8x4" or "4x2". I assume it has something to do with the size of the prop and maybe how many blades it has, but I have yet to figure this out...

Thanks in advance!!!

It tells you the size, or diameter and pitch of the propeller. For instance, an 8x4 prop is 8" in diameter and will theoretically advance the airplane 4" with each revolution, this second number is called the propeller's "pitch".
