RE: Scale World championships ended today.
Can you remember how Sepp scored in that 02WC?
I remember that Tempest, fantastic in pictures, there was a great deal of shouting and cheering when it first came on the scene.
Who did it hold up in static compared to the Euro Vets'?
His scores could be a real good indication regarding the US-Euro scale discussion.
A cracking airplane in my opinion, how did it stand up to FAI thinking?

Thanks for that Red B.
Of course if I'd read the post somewhat closer I'd have noticed the Sepp seems to have been on the reserve bench.
Obviously didn't get a chance to play which was a shame.
I remember that Tempest just Blitz'd the Top Gun Static. People fainted, including me when I saw the pictures... it would have been nice to do a FAI comparison.

RE: Scale World championships ended today.
Sepp had some hard luck with his engine at the trials.... A true gentleman about it.
I had an opportunity to view his aircraft up close, truly a work of art and he's an excellent pilot as well. I had the opportunity to chat with him a couple weeks ago at the Chatham scale rally, I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in the near future....
Static scores ... sigh, be sure to have your documentation organized, any confusion at this level nets a zero score, my paint chips were disallowed and my 3 views scored poorly as I didn't document discrepancies for the instance I built. I could write a book about what not to do... [&o]
