Default Team Associated (only) powered by brushless Thread

Well i was thinking about it and decided that I should just start a Associated vehicle (ONLY) powered by brushless thread. I want everyone to post the vehicle and their system, gearing, batts, etc,.
since this is a associated only thread, then the information can be more specific and useful instead of so vague and varying due to vehicles.
i know I would really like to take the data and build some sort of database with average run times, gearing, temps, speeds, etc, etc....

not a bad start...run times, temps, gearing questions...the more info the better. weights, tires, etc etc...
maybe links for good hopup sites, recommended hopups...requests for custom hopups

RC10T4, Mamba Maxx 5700 motor and ESC, Gearing 19/78 (low) to 24/78 (high), Top Speed 49mph (low) to 58mph (high), 3-cell 3300mAH LiPo gives 12-16 minute runtime, stock except for titanium CVDs.
videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX77Pd1KyWo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLbSe7cA6xU

(same as above), Neo Sphere 4-star motor, gearing 16/78 (low) to 19/78 (high), Top Speed 42mph (low) to 48mph (high), around 14-16 minute runtime.

Both cases require a 10 watt, 28CFM fan and a large heatsink on the motor for cooling, and (high) gear ratios tuned for a 5-minute race.

just as a note, for the mamba, castle said i could gear to the moon as long as motor didnt get 200 degrees....

this also helps my situation, i like to see where i rank with the evo compared to other systems. so baiscally a 5700 on 3s lipo is putting out 8-9 more mph..
humm....i need to get me a radar gun and a good spot to go blow the soot out of it and see where i am...
good info guys...keep it up. dont forget pics...

it's FAST!!! And VERY torquey... i ran a team checkpoint 9T for the longest time because i liked it so much, but my ESC fried and I was forced to buy another, so I invested in the mamba ESC. The 380 7T beats the team checkpoint in every way shape and form. Using the same batteries (ib 3800's) my b4 never wheelied unless I geared super low. With the feigao 7T it wheelies with normal gearing and has higher top end.

i want to drop a 7700 motor in the b4 for comparison sometime... i'll let you know how they directly compare after I do!

Smu, 20-87? That's fast gearing. How are you temps?

So far the temps have been okay, I have only ran it twice. I was stuck with the 20/87 combo because thats all i had at the time, just got an 18t pinion in today and have a 16t - 20something set of pinion gears that I am waiting on from ebay.

I bash off road so if anyone has suggestions for gearing let me know.

classic RC10t2 with mamba and 380C 6L with 6/7 cell gp3300s. 87/20 gearing for small track. no temps but the motor and esc are barely warm to the touch.

getting a TC4 for some onroad action

I have GTB 4.5 in my T4 FT which is better suited for TC. However, T4 FT is very light and low pinions make a fast and responsive T4 FT. I run 12-87 which results in warm motor but a 15-87 would reach pretty high temps. Novak says not to exceed 130-140 degrees. I use the 5 second finger on motor without screaming guideline.

Sleepy WHATS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My stable in Assoicated is...
2 original gold aluminum tubbed RC10's. One I raced for ever it has the wide front rnd from RPM i think. It looks like it at least. The other is new original with 2 runs on it. Bought it and built it for my wife but she never really got into it. I dont think there is a scratch on the tub.

2 B4's both basically stock except for Ti rods and pivot pins and aluminum pivot points. Both run brushless. One on a Navak 5800 and the other on a Quark 80 with Hacker C40. Both run like hell. The Hacker runs faster, way faster.

1 T3 mostly stock except for the same Ti and aluminum treatment as the B4's. Motor is brushless. Novak 5800 here also.

1 RC12L completely stock running a Mamba 25 on an Aon 5500 (?). Little thing really moves. It has a Bentley LeMans body on it.

1 RC18B mostly stock except the Ti stuff and diffs. Motor and controller is a Mamba 25 with a 5800 motor.

All radio hardware is Multiplex and several cars have the GWS receivers in them. They are small and very light. As soon as Castle gets their stuff togather on the Berg ones I will switch to them. I am waiting for them to finish the 75 mHz ones.

my 2 gold tubbed RC10's dont have brushless. But I dont see it as a problem on them.

No problems at all on everything else. I do have ceramic bearings in everything and ball difs in the RC18

T4 FT comes with Stealth tranny which is very strong and easily handles brushless without blowing up!!! No mods either!! OEM does the job.
