How do I balance a nylon prop.
I have my prop on my magnetic balancer and one side of the prop is definitely heaver.
I would think on the wood props you could just sand one side but with nylon props I'm not sure.[sm=50_50.gif]
I'm coming from Helis where a little tape goes a long ways when it comes to balancing rotor blades.

RE: How do I balance a nylon prop.
You can use clear finger nail polish on the light side to give it added weight. You can also use clear packing tape on the light side. I've used both methods.
Do a little at a time until you find the right combination using either method.
Hope this helps.

RE: How do I balance a nylon prop.
I take an exacto knife and scrape a little off the back of the prop. Hold the blade perpendicular to the prop and lightly stroke it in one direction. Do it uniformly along the prop and it will not affect anything. This method makes the prop a little lighter and doesn't make the motor work harder by turning extra weight.
