2006 Hot Springs Extreme Aerobatic Club Show Oct.13-15th
The 2006 Hot Springs Extreme Aerobatic Club Big Bird Fly In is on for Oct.13-15th, this is one of the best stops on the Extreme Aerobatic Club's list.
If you have never been to the Hot Springs Show, this will be one to remember, television coverage, live radio remote broadcast and a Sat. dinner trip on the Belle of Hot Springs ( a big style riverboat on Lake Hamilton ).
This is a Big Bird Fly In, any 80" plane or bigger is welcome, be aware that there will be 3D flying, demos and music.
Bring your families as Hot Springs has many things for the entire family, If you pilots also run rc cars, bring them and try out the new rc track on site(car frequencies only!!)
If you plan to attend please contact us or post directly here, we need a pilot list # so we can get an accurate count for the lunches, the lunch will be catered from the Ol' Feedhouse
Landing fee $20.00 and this includes the pilots lunch, If you would like to bring your spouse or family and would like them to have the pilots lunch as well, just give your name and the # of extra lunches you would like, i believe the extra cost is $ 12 or $15 dollars, I will get with the caterer and find out for sure.
The EAC (Extreme Aerobatic Club) is a club that promotes 3D Flying, Fun, Fellowship and Safety. Our 3D Fly Ins combine some of the best 3-D flying you'll ever see with a state of the art sound system playing music the entire day. We usually spend one hour per day with a few demonstrations. We have a few 3-D pilots that fly 4-minute freestyle's to music. We always have something for the kids and plenty of help for anyone wanting to learn 3D. We also allow plenty of time for open flying.
The EAC is a club that promotes 3D Flying, Fun, Fellowship and Safety. With this said, the EAC will use everything at it's disposal to help aid in a safe flying environment. There have been no accidents at any of the EAC events since our conception in 2002. We have held 20 fly ins in this time period. By thinking proactively and being responsive from other incidents in the country, we will keep the EAC events alive and growing for everyone's enjoyment for years to come. For the 2005 season and on, we're asking that all planes that fly at an EAC events be equipped with a functioning failsafe system which, in the event of a loss of signal, will reduce the throttle setting to idle. You'll be asked to demonstrate this capability on the flight line before your first flight. With the engine running and the throttle up at a 1/4 throttle, you'll shut off your transmitter and demonstrate the low-throttle hold. How you decide to program your other surfaces is your choice. We hope that all of you will embrace these changes so it will insure that we all get to enjoy what we like doing most for years to come.

Paul, I will be there! Where do I sign up for the dinner cruise?
Also, will there be any camping at the field? I will be at a hotel, but some friends may want to camp.
