Not all of us are rednecks that enjoy NASCAR so I resent that remark. If people are Jeff Gordon fans, fine. I'm not either but there is no reason to put them down because he isn't yours so you might want to rethink your posting and do some editing work before I do it for you or toss this thread altogether.
With only 25 postings I'm assuming that you probably didn't read the site rules so now might be a good time to do so before posting any more.

Yes, I was a big fan of old Ironhead and my house shows it with all of the #3 goodies laying around but now I have those that I like and those that I don't, no real clear-cut favorites any more. I'd rather cheer for the underdogs than the big favorite drivers.

I watch NASCAR, I would really like to go to a Nextel Cup race one day too. My favorite driver is, of course, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Sorry, we're talking NASCAR here, not Formula 1, drifting or anything else.
In my opinion, drifting is about the lamest thing going in motorsports. Big deal, I was doing that stuff years ago in snow-covered parking lots before they had a name for it.
I'm going to go watch the NCTS race right now as it just started.

Right on man. I agree.. I went to see the fast and the furious tokyo drift and I had to leave because I was laughing too hard.

I bet you camped out three days in advance so you could be first in line to see Tokyo Drift....
Also, many drifting tracks are indeed ovals, which is why Im laughing at your comment about how going in circles are boring.

oooooo my god! i hate it when people compare drifting to tokyo drift.... just to have proof, I bought a magazine containing a dvd that has D1 drifting competitions... and i bought it like 2 years before tokyo drift came out. and i converted my TL-01 to a drifter like 3 years before tokyo drift came out. statements like that piss me off. i can sit in the drivers seat and go in ovals easily... but it would take me years to learn how to drift. yeah, some drifting tracks may be ovals, but at least your adding finesse and style to your driving. and no offense, nascar technically means redneck, but i am not going to start with that... been on mod status already, not cool.

dude, i can drift my bicicle, i garentie you some one who got 43rd place in the cup could drift better then that falcon team with the mint green mustang or any one else. If you don't beleave me, go buy a nascar game, how about nascar 07, then set every thing on expert and see if you can win. And thats just a small comparisen, nascar is the only sport were compediters loose nearly 5 pounds in water weight. Go drees up in your winter suit and go sit outside in the streat for 6 hours. Nascar is trully hard. All you need to drift is $500 for a honda civic, 600 for a nitrous system, $100 for really small tires, and of corse a HUGE sticker sheat. I can respect drifting, but i don't want to hear that drifting is easyer then nascar.

I enjoy watching NASCAR, My favorite driver is Matt Kenseth, living here in Indiana I had to go to the Brickyard 500 and it was awsome. Have any of you seen the Redline TV show on SpeedTV where the NASCAR guys went drifting. And by the way AznBash3r NASCAR stands for National,Association,Stock,Car,Automobile,Racing.

w/e... all im gonna say is that more than half the people in my school don't even know what nascar is, or don't like it. And btw, I bet you know nothing about drifting. It is the typical stereotypic person who thinks drifting is all about hondas and nitrous. only honda ive seen on the drift track is the S2000. Get real.

OK, I'm going to say this one last time before I start deleting postings. If you want to talk about drifting, drag racing, F-1 or any other type of racing, start your own thread. Don't invade this one with why you don't like NASCAR as we've been through this before.
I think that I've made myself very clear on this.
