Stan's is OK but Aeroglass is better.

Finally, after messing around with some other ARFs, I got this baby covered and the engine on. I tinted the canopy with RIT dye and it came out perfect. Need to know if any one put a smoke system in their plane. I have the slimline show-time smoke pump but haven't decided if its going in this one. There is plenty of room for a smoke tank but I am not sure how to mount one inside.

Smoke
Jason,
Can you explain what you mean by the side of the plane for mounting? You should try to get the smoke system on the c.g. if possible. This way you don't change the c.g. With a full tank of smoke fuel. The coolest systems I have seen are removable.
Lets see some pictures.

I thought about putting a system in mine, but it is heavy enough as it is and I wouldn't want to compromise the wing loading. I do think that if you build it very light then it would handle a smoke system very well.

Erling , very nice looking plane. You didn't tell us how it flew.
What is the weight w/G38?
Michael,
Triangles cut from lite ply can be glued to support the sevo tray. Make the length of side A the length of the tray. Side B will be the lenght from the tray to almost the rib top. IThis will give you the abilty to support the whole tray and avoid any "tray torque" from a high pwr, high speed servos. I hope I have explained it well. You can picture a shelve turned upside down with light ply triangles, make them as big as you can. The weight is nothing.

I added some gussets to the aileron servo trays too, it only made sense, and it really shored the trays up. Just cut some triangles to fit to the tray/rib in an area that wont interfere with anything else, and epoxy them in. I did use epoxy for the trays, as you dont know what kind of torque those trays really recieve, running a 100+oz servo in there I would imagine the trays do get there share of stress.
