Default Very dissatisfied

I purchased a tornado xl and all I can say it was the biggest waste of money.

I can not stress enough what trash this product is.

stripped gear,
Broken front left drive hub.
bent dogbone for the front wheel drive.

These were not from crashes but pretty much right out of the box. I ordered replacment parts. The aluminum set and wouldnt you know it they were crap too.
The dogbones were too short and according to the exploded view I got the right part.

All I can say is stay away. from this product unless you like to waste your money.

I just wanted something less expensive for my kids to run alongside with me. and what I got was a lot of frustration and aggrivation.

the exploaded views being wrong is acceptable??? Just shows how this product is very crappy. Who is responsible for that? Should I be refunded the cost of the wrong part numbers?

Why is it that the bearings pop out of the aluminum hubs? Causing the wheels to go crooked?

Why is it with the plastic hubs the bearings don't fit?

I know how to repair the cars. I have two other ones at home and never had a problem with them when it comes to replacing parts.

Dude I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I purchased a hurricane xp from www.topspeedtoys.com and I couldn't be happier. I must say that I'm impressed with the ruggedness of my hurricane. I let some little twelve year old drive my hurricane, and he wrecked in to a parked car! It Bent the front shock tower and took a fin off the engine heat sink. I bent the shock tower back and no problems. I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience but I don't think that reflects everyones experience. I have never owned a tornado but I would recommend a hurricane to anyone looking to get in to the hobby without spending twice as much money. Good Luck Mike.....

?????? i remember you saying you sold some of your redcats since you were tired of the repair, reliability problems.

I am going to put my redcats on ebay, i have had enough of the spur gear and reliabitliy problems, i havent used them in months, i just use the name brands i own. I am so tired of the gear problems.

After replacing my clutchbell with a HPI clutchbell, ive run over a gallon and a half with no stripping.replaced my knuckles with hpi rs4 ones, and has not broken yet after many hard hits into the pipe at the track. Motor is running fine after three gallons through it. (XL)

basically turn it into an hpi and there are much less problems, better off buying an hpi, my rs4 cost $300.
