oh, i almost forgot the most important thing they upgraded was the brakes. now their mtm(metal to metal) the same as the nemesis, and it does stop on a dime.

Well i have put in the MTM brake system along with the Nemesis
stiff white springs .I have also put on 23mm wheel hexes and am currently
riding on cheyennes with big joes. The only difference between my Genny LE and the GST is the engine mods.
Well not exactly mine has in the hitec 5955tg servo for steering and a intellect
1400mah receiver pack.

Yeah it sure do sound like thwhat i read on the gst7.7 is it dosent have the airtronics radio, the diff are steel but the housing that holds the ring gear is plastic like the gen le, but upgradable to the aluminum ones like the nemesis. the only differences from the genny le to the gst 7.7 are they ported the engine and 23mm hexes. personally i would rather have the better fm computer radio than the 23mm hexes and wheels.

please chime in if i missed something, i think cen took a step back on this one.

They sure did go backwards. So which is the best version of the Genesis to get for your money.

well at this point the nemesis is the best bet, i hardly ever use reverse and the 3 speed you can get for the nemesis, i think i paid 30.00 (which i installed, not much faster so dont wast your money ). besides the nemesis just with the 2 speed is faster than the genesis, taller gearing.

Hey Jumbo, i totally agree with you and if i could do it over again i would have
bought the Nemesis because even though they are both great trucks i would give
the edge to the Nemmy.

i have both (genesis le and the nemesis) i have the nemesis set up as the racer, but since i got the lst2 its as fast or faster than the nemesis. i wish i had 4 hands so i can do a drag race between the both of them and end it once and for all which is faster.

Nice lookin' truck huw[sm=thumbup.gif].. your rim/tire setup looks good on it, similar to what my buddy is gonna get for his Nemmy.. the stock wheels are cool because of their size but IMO the 40 series look much better.. and I'm sure they perform better, the stock Nemesis tires don't hook up all that great..

iam really interested in what kind of clutch these big trucks use and the diameter of the clutch bell. cause in such a heavy truck with a torque-orientated engine the clutch is THE most important factor in its performance. so please enlighten me

Thank you for your kind words Duckedup, and your right the stock tires don't
hook up that well but the big joes get the job done and they are wider.
Hey Mech747, the diameter of the clutch bell is a fraction under 1.5in.

thats fairly large and do you know if it uses a 3-shoe setup or...

i might consider this truck or buy the complete clutch from it cause i find the clutches on these monster trucks are significantly under-engineered.

my savage XSS or my MGT but iam probably going to make it work on the savage as i drive it most. by the way does the .46 motor use the same SG shaft that most bigblocks use or are they different cause if they aren't the flywheel might not fit the engines i have[]

Thanks... I gotta love this GST... so I bought another one... and it will be brushless again.....
this thing took a whole 2 days to do... I just wanted it to be as nice as possible by using standard hand/power tools.... I tried the vehicle with only 3 Cells Lipo.... and she can push me around on the floor.. this Brushless setup was planned for 8 Cells Lipos.... I will make a video as soon as the weather gets better...

Awesome pics thank you ,

I LOVE large, high quality pix

Do you remember what was written on the engine block... NX 7.6 or NX 7.7 ?????

also do you have a high quality picture of the brake setup? i'm trying to compare the "MTM" brakes to the old Genesis ones

Did it come with the blue wheel nuts out of the box?

And what do you think of the new radio they are packing with these trucks? any good? or should i junk it when i get the truck and use my LST2 JR fm radio?

You have one really nice looking truck!!! The GST has to be CEN's nicest looking truck.
Cannot wait to get mine the shop gets them in early December here is Australia Counting the days.......

I have some new pics of it also.. with a new battery tray, dual steering servo.....

I haven't used the radios with these things, but I can't imagine that they're that great.... I use all spektrum dsm radio/receivers.... I don't remember what was on the engine.... Shipping to Australia can't be that much.... and it's very fast too from the states... you can get one from killer hobbies.... they have it for only $535USD
