RE: Snow Master build
Thanks, guys, Almost ready to fly, I started it today. The TTPRO.36 screams, at 4lbs 2oz, should be a flyer. The bipe the .36 came of weighed 4lb 8oz. I had it a old coffee table when it was running, I think it would fly right off the table! I think it will take off on grass, or hand launch and belly slide in the grass for a landing. I think I will build a foam fuse for the water instead of sealing this one up.

Hi
looks nice prob be ok off snow or grass, but if you build a version to go off water you will need a longer nose, it will just nose over and sink.
Another 5" or so should do it.
I built somthing very similar.

RE: Snow Master build
I think your right, I don't plan to FOW, I think the motor needs to be back where it's supposed to be for FOW, made it easier to balance moving it forward. I just got the final touchs done, flexable pushrod, and about got the motor lined out, it's still a little touchy getting it started, runs fine after that. I flooded it once, and was a little too careful when priming it up after that, I'll see if I really have it figured out tomorrow. Solid ice outside, everywhere is a runway! Hope to get it off to ground.
