no reason why it cant drift.......but if you are wanting a nitro drifter, I can offer you a better deal.
I have an HPI Nitro RS4 3 SS .18 RTR thats ready to go. The only thing you would need to add is an RX and a radio. If you need that, I could put an AM system in for you.
Its used...but I can let it go for much cheaper than the CEN CT-5. The dual speed setup in that car would be overkill for drifting.
But..to answer your questions:
Yes it could drift
A bit expensive for a drifter
