Here is my Volcano STX slightly wider than the stock one (custom lower arms and linkages made it 5" wider and gained about 3/8 - 1/2" of clearance)

I "machined" them out of 6061 Aluminum, each arm is 2 1/2 longer than stock so add it on each side of the truck. As far as how it goes- I just put the truck together few days ago and it's kinda cold out here (Maine) right now to ride it, so I don't quite know how it behaves.

Awesome man, we have similar snow in MI and did some riding last night in 12 degree weather ... but had a blast and didn't break a thing

Can't say the same for my bro-in-law though, he broke a door mount, front, and rear steering hub. [X(]

That's what the weather does to you, gotta get some aluminum hopups!!! Chuck broke the clutch spring the end of the day (on top how the truck looked like in the clip). But reading the forum he is pretty lucky - he's got almost a gallon of fuel through the truck when it happened (my broke after 1 1/2 tanks of break in).
