I will do some research, studying the setups and so on. I looked at the thread you posted and plan to look at it some more soon, thanks.
BTW I've been reading that book a fair amount that mopartybob gave, I think I'm on page 15 give or take a few pages, the book is actually quite interesting.

Mopartybob, yes, these guys are hooked. I was too when I bought my first boat and ran it. Half the fun is setting them up, then its all about making it go faster.

Does anyone know how I mount the servos in the radio box? I take it I should use the provided micro servo for the throttle, rite? Sorry, I cant get pictures because I don't have access to a camera until Tuesday, but maybe this same one might help.

Koolaid,
Ill take pics of the way I have mine set up. The way that radio box is set up is for the aluminum servo mounts. I just use a piece of wood and run them across and set the servo on those. That servo I would use for the throttle not the steering, you need a hi torque servo for the steering.

I guess my first question is, why is there a total of three servos? I know there is one for throttle, and one for steering, but what is the other one for?
thanks

Or it could be for trim but I've only seen that on monos and the radio box appears to be a tunnel

Dougaldy, I see that you are online.
- I was wondering, are we going to need a third servo?
- Which of the two functions that John Howell listed is your reason for the third servo on your Bandit Tunnel?
Thanks

Koolaid,
Sorry for the delay in the response. John was correct in that it is for on board fuel mixture. Dont worry about a third servo, the carburator on the motor will have a needle on it for the necessary adjustments. I would locate a servo for steering and use the other one you have for the throttle.

Ok, thanks dougaldy. I will be purchasing this servo soon since you said it should be high torque. (Futaba S3010) http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDTB3&P=ML

Koolaid,
Looks good, once you get your motor, put it on there then measure for the length of pushrods and the throttle cable. It will all go together pretty easily.

I've been following this post from the beginning and your lastest comment just lost me. Are you some type of ingrate that doesn't appreciate the kindness of others?

How are the boats coming along. Any updates. I have a few parts that you might need. Do you have a list of things that you need to get them running. Thanks Tim
