The Flite Metal access plates look great....However, is it just MY eyes, or are the leading edges of the horizontal and vertical stabilizer still squared off?

Tim,
Posting pictures is really easy. When you click reply, there will be a link at the bottom left of the text box where you type your message that says "Click here to upload images and files." Just click that link and then use the browse buttons to find the photos you want to post on your hard drive. You can select multiple pictures in succession. When you are finished, just click ok and the upload program will save your fullsize photos and add thumbnails to your message. You won't see your photos if you click Preview however. They only show up when you post the message. I'd love to see pictures of your work on the folding wing.

mark21,
I didn't notice that when I was admiring the flite metal and all the other great detail. It looks to me like they have not been done yet. What's up ctflyboy? Are you going to shape them and were just being hasty? Your plane is looking really great. I hope with this thread and you help mine will be close to as good as yours. I wonder though.
Tim,
When you are done with your post but before you click OK click on the upload images written in blue at the bottom of the posting box. If you have pictures page on your computer when you see the browse screen pop up just hit the first browse and it will take you to your pictures. Click on the picture that you want and then push open and it will be in the post. It won't show up until you click the OK for the post to open and when it comes up the picture or pictures will be there. Hope this helps.

Help,
Has anybody on here built the 1/8 scale Corsair and used Century Jet retracts and pu gear doors on it? If you have I need help with the forward doors. If anyone has done this could you please post some pictures and an explanation of what you used and how you made them work?
Thanks a bunch,
Gibbs

SMUGator,
I need your help. I want to duplicate your gear door method of actuating the doors. The only porblem is I only have the one picture and it's the one posted here. Can you take one of the bottom so I can see how you did it. If not just explain it to me on my e-mail. My e-mail address is: [email protected]
Thank you very much!!!,
Barry

Short of disassembling everything, this is probably the best I can do. You can see one of the prototypes we made for the sliding bar showing the 1/8" brass tubing on the back. One thing I might do different if I were starting over is to move the guide posts a little further apart to create a little more stability laterally. I'm glad you are trying this design. Since you seem to be moving faster than us, you can do all of the field tests and let us know how it works.
