I don't know what this does but there is no weight difference. I guess we were just bored and wanted to do something custom and cool looking.[8D]

I know that but I don't want to. I cut off on the alloy purchase. The shock towers are useless. I did this because I just needed the mounts I made so in the future I could by carbon fiber plate which is not that expensive and cut out a carbon fiber shock tower.

the tamiya is only known for having the smoothest shocks because they use silicone o-rings and the tc5 will use that to so i know it will be as good if not better than a trf plus if tc4s can bet em i duobt a tc5 will loose to one

I dont want a TC5 because its belt driven #1 and #2 its gonna be pricy because all that graphite and aluminum upgrades it comes with....I just hope the TC4 doesn't get discontinued because it hasn't been out that long...[:@]

hey guys,
my rear diff is too tight to turn when i spin the wheels in the same direction,
then when i rolled it on the floor, with no pinion on the motor, it should have rolled for ages, but it rolled less than a metre,
any ideas?
thanks

tighten all the way and then 1/8th turn out. also check your transmission for smoothness. might need new bearings (probably not)

I heard that you should just mess around with it and get it as loose as possibe without it making a grinding noise when you floor it.

no guys, it is nothing to do with the looseness of it,
wether it is fully tight or fully loose, it does the same thing,
when i turn the gears inside the gearbox, they are too tight and hardly turn at all,
aka when i pulled the pinion off, and pushed it along the floor , it should have rolled for more than 1metre

Sounds like you've ripped a tooth from your idler... it happens to people that don't loosen their slippers enough...

iam new in the buggy field.i currently own a desert gator.its quite stable.i need help cos 2 weeks ago,i took it for a ride in a park with a 4200 mah batt and a half filled shock on the left.cos i am unexperienced,i made some drifts and wreck it.i broke an axle, damaged a wheel connector, cracked a wheel connector on the right wheel and rip a tire into half from its rim. What should i do?get street tires?if so where do i get them?your suggestions will be very helpful to me.

well thanks,
i soaked the gearbox in petrol, to remove grease, and with no grease it seems better now, so i'll re-grease and try,
what grease do you all use?
