if your running to lean it will starve for fuel, too rich and it will flood, close the high needle and put it out 3 turns, make the low needle flush with the collar around it. start it up and run it, when it warms up start to lean the high needle a little at a time, like 1/8 of a turn, drive it and see if it gets better.

the only difference is the suspension, the stx has regular a arms, the sv has ball joint suspension and the sv has ball joint suspension in aluminum with the aluminum upgrades.

electric starters are good, you can get the whole hpi setup from tower for like $35, it has the backplate and starter wand, you will need to get a battery and charger. If the engine is tuned right, it should start on 2 or 3 pulls after priming it. The downside with the electric starters is that you need to have a charged batter to start the car, if not, your out of luck and have to wait for the batter to charge, not to mention its another thing to carry around to use your car.

i never seen the himoto starter or used it, you will still need to get a batter and charger for it, but at $20 i dont think you can go wrong.

ehroof, I've got another one for you. I let one of my buddies run my Volcano SV and in the process he broke the transmitter antenna. I've checked with Redcat and it's made by Futaba. I've gone to tower hobbies and they have ten or more Futaba antennas. This one has male threads on the end. Can you please help me? Oh, that's the first AND last time I let a buddy run one of my R/C's!! Thanks again,. Pete
