SMALLEST RADIO
WHAT COMBINATION OF COMPONENTS WOULD MAKE UP THE SMALLEST AIRBORNE PACK. RECEIVER, SERVO'S AND BATTERY. I AM INTERESTED IN MICRO MODELING. YEARS AGO CANNON MADE ONE OF THE SMALLEST SET UP'S I HAVE EVER SEEN. REGARDS DUANE

Hi,
GWS and others make micro receiver and servos that are very light. They are currently used with electric motors and electronic speed controls. The motor battery is usually sued to power the receiver and servos through a battery eliminator circuit in the speed control. This setup is small and quit, thus suitable for flying anywhere. If you used a glow engine, you should consider a full range micro receiver which is only slightly heavier the a typical micro receiver along with a AAA size battery pack.
