Hi, i've had parts that say they are suitable for the rush evo, a mt1 and a nmt. . whatever a nmt is lol.. the front shock off the mt1 fits on the rear of the rush. rear axles are same on mt1 and rush [:-]

RE: OFFICIAL HPI RUSH / EVO THREAD
Hi all, just decided to drop in and see what y'all are doin these days. Im surprised to see this thread still alive. It's been close to 8 months since i've been in here lol. I've had my Rush for about 3 yrs now, and it has a few upgrades here and there.
Blue, the first things i would do go as follows:
Proline Moab Tires os w/e HPI rims you fancy
CVD's
Blue or Purple springs for the rear to lessen the sagging
and buy a set of MT2 Diff Gears - you'll probly go through your first set within 2 gallons (the Rush is famous for this), depending on how hard you run, and the MT2 ones are stonger and won't burn up.
Stronger Steering Servo
Then, some good ol' DIY mods:
Port the header - http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=398
this is an article that goes through the process with virtually the same motor you have, so follow it to the letter, and it should be easy as pie.
Seal up the radio box - an essential if running near water, or in damp grass. The Rush has a very easy radio box to seal. Just use some RTV silicone or window caulking.
Then, once ur motor is fried (4-5 gallons later, give or take) Buy an O.S. .18 CV-R, and leave it at that.
Oh, and rushevokool, don't even bother with a 2-speed in the rush. the only way you're getting one in there is by buidling a custom extended chassis, and stuffing a jato tranny in there somehow.

RE: OFFICIAL HPI RUSH / EVO THREAD
Cheers dmr,
Well long story but... i orded my rush and tht meilke pipe from m****sport along with a few other bits, but they where messing me about. My hsn was nackered and they tryed to chrge me £15 for a new 1! ( it was a factory fault, i hadent had any fule thru it) . I hate m****sport and there atitude towards the sport. They have a really good website but sh*t aftersales service. Any way i decided to cancle my order and go to a model shop in morley. The guy there was really cool and helped out. He tuned and ran in my engine and sorted the HSN needle problem. fitted the hpi exhaust, airfilter, new fuel line, fuel filter and a few other bits for £20. obv. i needed to pay for exhaust and filters but he was they were really good.

RE: OFFICIAL HPI RUSH / EVO THREAD
Hi me again...
my spur gear and clutchbell dont have the best meshing, the teeth on the spur only seem to be meshing with about 75% of the clutchbell.
how can i adjust the spur to mesh with the bell completely?

RE: OFFICIAL HPI RUSH / EVO THREAD
it probably isn't this but have you checked the flywheel hasn't come loose. My rush evo wouldn't start and i thought it was flooded but it turned out the flywheel had come loose.
