well if i had a small car and went mudding with it i would do it in either the subaru impreza or the subaru sti. both 4wd and both were in rally competitions. although i would think the impreza would need a suspension tweak to raise it alittle. its to low the way it comes

Hey MT2 GURUs. I have had a MT2 for a while now and I was thinking of upgrading to a new engine. I have a new traxxas 3.3 engine sitting and thought this might be a badass hopup for my basher. Is there any one out there that has done the same? Any thoughts? I never race my MT2. Strictly jumping and bashing is how I drive my truck.
Thanks for the help.

someone on here did that once but he showed a video and it looked like it was lacking top end, i think the os 18cv-r is a much better match for the mt2

The Savage transmission will not fit with out major modifications and so far I have never see it done. No it is not a drop in. I have a Savage and a MT among others. I believe some of the on road car transmissions will work. Have no need for one my self. I hear off road they do not hold up well as you do away with the slipper clutch.

no a revo tranny wouldnt work either, cause it has an electric shifter that you have to plug into something and if its not plugged in then it wont shift gears

for the mt2 18ss?
should i go for it ive wanted a rc18mt i have no idea what an xray is but 2 for one sounds good especially both brushless

dang murawskiallen get out of my head i want a rc18mt and a revo tranny with the opti-drive might work all it does is read the shafts rpm and shifts when ever it hits a specific rpm
