Default control throws

Whats the best way to measure control throws in degrees? Just a plane old protractor or do they make something better or easier?
Thanks

I just don't know if it does it in degrees or not.

That one works well... but it doesn't allow for setting up higher 3d throws....

I use a simple tool that has been around for many years. It's called a Ruler.
