I keep blowing glow plugs in warhead! why why why?
I have finally got everything working right on the car, now this, but if this is fixed, im sure it will work fine. The car keeps blowing glow plugs about a minute into driving at full throttle. I just about have the HSN set at stock, just about 2 turns in, but thats it. Why might this be happening? I would also like to know how can i make my truck start by just pushing down on the starter box without having to give it a little push on the throttle

stock settings are usually quite a bit too rich, which will eat up glow plugs. when you start or re-start a nitro truck(at least me) it starts way better when the idle setting is bumped up a tad. warm it up for a minute like that then turn the idle setting back down to normal

I dont know if you just said it wrong, or you are measuring wrong, but they are turns out, not in. So you may have them set wrong. And the stock settings are for break in, which means they are rich, maybe if you arent good at tuning you can just set them in a little further.

The clutch may be messed in some way. Just take out the engine and then take off the clutch bell. You may or may not notice anything. My 2 cents

set the truck to factory setting on the high and low speed needle, then go richer by a quarter of a turn, then start tuneing the high speed need from there going in 1/12 or 1/8 turns at a time
also what do the glow plugs look like after you burn them out? do the look all best and distorted? grey? black? shinny? ect anything you notes about them after you burn them out.
break in setting will not be eating your glow plugs this fast, so i think there is an imbalance between the high and low speed needles.

Yeah, Revovega28 if you would read all off this thread you will read thread rodneywalker states that the wheels move while the truck is off the ground. This is probably just because the engine over revs. I am not a pro, i was just throwing ideas out!

Well I'm just saying that none of mine do, either that i am lucky or just good at it. (Im not really good at it) If you have the idle up to high they will move while off the ground. You want the idle to just keep the engine going.

Yes, the truck might be too rich. Also, consider using a medium plug for the fuel that you are using (Im assuming 30%). Hot plugs in many cases have thinner wire filiments and this could be a factor to why you are losing plugs too often also.
