Default OS50 SXh Crank moving...???

have a os 50 sxh and when I hold the engine in my left hand and then pull on the crank nut with my right hand I can move the crank back and forth about 2/16". That can't be right or normal; I am not sure, which is why I am asking. Don't want this thing to blow mid flight.

As long as it doesn't move an 1/8" ... you'll be fine.

When you tighten the fan/clutch there wont be any play.

That is what I was hoping. Now if I could only find out about the woodruff key I could get it in the air. I really don't see how it will work without it. The crank would just spin iinside of everything due to having nothing to grab ahols of. Ya know

Like I told you in that thread, you dont need a woodruff key for the fan.

No woodruff key or washer is used between the fan and motor. Pressure will keep it in place. Remember to put a dab of blue locktite in the prop nut when you tighten it.
