Which plans has the folding wings options, and how does it work? This has been on my build list even before I got in to RC.

Here are a couple of shots of my Byron Corsair. Sachs 4.2, Byron Purr Powr muffler mount, flying 3 bladed prop, flaps and working gear doors. She weighs in at about 26#.

Here's my dad's. Heaviest plane I've ever lifted. Ziroli plans, G62, full retracts. Gorgeous plane.

Aeroscale, great Corsair, I noticed in an earlier post that the weight is a reasonable 24 lbs. I am puzzled that a lot of the TF GS Corsairs are 30 lbs. Thats like a 94 inch Ziroli. Could you give us the details. Glassed? retracs? finish? or in general how you kept the weight down. Thanks. DWR.

I have that plane with that same engine as well. Great flying plane. I can't wait to build a bigger f4u.

Still Building,
I am still building my 1/7 scale GE TF Corsair and when I'm done with that one I'm building my Don Smith 1/4 scale 120" wingspan F4U-1D Corsair with all the Mods. I am doing the same on the 1/7 scale but it is harder because of the small size. I want to practice on this one so I am better for the Big Bird. Here are some pictures of my Corsair.

Three More,
I've been building this Corsair for the past 5 months. It is takin forever to make it true scale and adding all the modifications. I hope you can see some of them like the ribs and lighting system.
