Alright i have a savage 25 sittin in my basement and want to take it out again, but i havnt used it cause the engine is basically shot. What are some good engines that would fit right in or have brackets so that my savage would be able to run with my friends revo.

I just put a Hot Bodies Powerhouse .26 in my Savage .21 last week ($114 Tower). Dropped right in with no extra work need to mount it. With your Savage .25, sounds like you might want an Axial .28($119 Tower) since you should have the updated tranny and diffs. I went with the older, smaller .26 out of fear of ripping up my stock Sav .21 gears. Anyway, the Hot Bodies motor is nice but I hear the Axial is a killer.

Team Associated LRP .28 spec or the Axial .28 are great in a savage.

Also STS D28M and D30M are great basher engines for the Savage. If you get these engines, I highly recommend the 0702 pipe to go with them. In all, the total cost will not be more than $180. Check out STS Microengines; Mark often has deals for RCU members.
