Default Burned Fuel In Possibly Wrong Places?

I highly doubt burned fuel should be on the manifold like under the rubber cover and at the back, I'll post pics tomorrow. Could It possibly be the manifold gasket not sealing?

The header is kinda on a slight angle, I bet that would do it.

I might have to remove the shocks then to get at it because its so tight between the header and shocks, plus that spring is impossible to take off

Na I do it all the time without removing shocks. Just turn the the exhaust header and muffler down to remove it and rotate exhaust, muffler up. Be sure you coat the rubber outside with oil to lubricate the flange as it goes on. Be sure the rubber is completely inside the header flange

Use good needle nose pliers to grip the spring hook to remove and install it. It'll take some grip but it works well

I do this proceedure at will, so I know it works...

Hmmmmm.......... my manifold is covered with burnt fuel as well. I never thought anything of it....... figured it was normal. Good thing i'm doing a teardown for mods and piston/sleve replacement.

Ahh, so much burned fuel, there is even more on the under side then the top. Notice how the rubber manifold has a rip in it, That isnt right? Am I correct?

Hey your manifold looks *identical* to mine, same weird burn marks, I just thought it was normal wear and/or impurities in the aluminum cast.

Its definently a leak from the rubber gasket. *Sigh* Does anyone have a spare or knows where to get one without paying big bucks and getting the whole exhaust kit.
