Well piggybackshock are much more of a novelty then an actual performance inhancement in R/C. If your looking for the awesome performance without any modification to fit your OFNA buggy Id reccoemnd you go with a set of Jammin X1-FT Big-Bore shocks.

Your theory of the more oilthe better is true with all the recent shift in buggy shock design towards big-bores, but as far as piggyback's go: Nobody who seriosuly races ever uses piggyback shock. While in theory you should be able to apply 1:1scale techinology to R/C in this case it just doesnt make any real difference. And as far as those Jammin big-bore go they are some of the best shock you can easily get on an OFNA Buggy & some of the best shocks on the market period. all you need is a small little shock mount pece and some easy to find hardware, and you can put the jammin big-bores on. I forgot the mount part #, ill look for it, and if I can;t find it there are alot of guys who have done this mod and they'll know it.

EDIT: Heres the shock mount's you need to fit the Jammin big-bores.

Also you might wanna try over at the OFNA forums there are alot of helpful guys there.

the piggy back doesn't actually supply more oil, it has a piece of foam in it which compresses as the piston goes into the bore. it acts in the same manner as the rubber diaghram on a normal shock. i use one on my RC bike, but it doesn't provide any performance advantage, just looks cool. on a buggy i wouldn't bother, the simpler the better in my opinion.
