With the manual pump I can guage how much fuel used/remaining for each flight. I know fuel status without taking the canopy off.

Manual pump. No batteries to mess with, and simple. Scott

Seems the Jersey manual setup is a favorite and I am in agreement.

The other thing I just changed is the fuel tank. I am using now a 16" tank from Bennett Specialties that is just the best improvement I've ever seen. I seem to be getting better fuel flow than ever before and there is no chance of leaks. The kit comes with high quality HD fittings (no more rubber gas adapter and crimped tubes).

The tank sits perfectly flat between the fastening loops on the Yak and is attached with velcro straps.

Manual pump work first time every time. On mine, eack revolution is a 1/4 oz so I also know how much it takes to fill the tank after each flight. My DA 50 gets 10 minutes flying time per 12oz of gas - your time/oz may vary...

You might be running somewhat rich.

I get around 15 minutes of flight for 10oz. and this includes 3D.
Regular muffler, 23x8, on a 88" Yak. This is on the third gallon since new and still running Ashless at 1:32.

Perhaps once I move to Amsoil at 1:50 oe 1:100 it will consume more...?
