Want to upgrade my RC boat, I need advice.
Hi I am new to RC'ing I just bought this boat off ebay (see the link), it's cool but it doesn't run long enough the battery runs out and we would also like some more speed out of it.

I want to upgrade the motor and battery but need advice as to what parts to buy that would be compatable.
I was thinking of getting brushless mtors but dont know what kind to get then I would need a cooling kit, right ?
Then I was thinking of getting a Lipo battery and charger but need to know what kind to get that would work well with the brushless motors.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks in Advance..
Justin.

At first, how much money do you want to spend?
It may not be wort it if the hull is poor.
I spent more than 1000 $ on one of my boat, but they would have been better spent if i had flushed them down the john.

Ah, another boat without rudders. You might just want to add more battery to that setup to get more run time out of it. IMO, trying to get more speed out of it by adding bigger motors (you will need a new speed control too) and hot batteries will start to really cost you. By the time you get that running as fast as you want, you could buy a Super Vee or something similar that is more built for faster running and is more upgradeable.

Thanks for the advice.
It looks like I will be looking out for a SuperVee 27 but not till after Christams I would hope to get some bargains then.
