Default Best profile for a saito 100

I have a saito 100 needing a home. Just wondering what the best profile to put it on. Needs to be a ARF that can do extreme 3D. Thanks..

I'm a little bias... but I like the Mojo 60 for this engine.... The Kat 70 is also a good one... You could also run that motor on OMPs 67" fusion or the OMP 65" Yak....

don't be so modest paul! He's right. the mojo 60 is a great platform for this engine. it is not an arf (i don't think yet... hint hint paul but it is a quick, easy kit. it is also worth the added strength! It is three times as strong as most any other profile on the market thanks to its tube design construction.

Agreed. The Hunnert fits best in a 60 size Mojo. Make mine a MoAss please!

Saito 100 might be a little on the low power side for the 65" Yak Or 67" Fusion. If you've got a good engine and run 30% nitro you should be ok. I have a Saito 100 and bought it specifically form my 50" OMP Ultimate. Great combo on that bipe and sounds really good as well. The 50" Ultimate is a kit but builds very easy as all wing panels are built the same. Lots of laser cutting in this kit as well.

Even better on a 15x6 Xoar, or Pro Zinger

Have to disagree the X6 prop is to fine. The X4(w) gives a slow RPM better torgue for lower speed and finer handling. Now on my Primo I've a Irvine 53 on a pipe that does everything faster using 12.75 X 3.25

Irrespective the Mojo is the way to go

Piscataway NJ 08854 [link]http://www.3dxhobbies.com[/link] has them if they arent there yet im sure they are on their way probably taking preorders now.

Why say they have them and then follow up that statement with they are probably taking pre-orders? Seems to me, as a consumer, if you're taking pre-orders on something, that you don't have them on hand yet. Seems that the Mojo 60 is in stock now!

Hi Wessco, seems to me he is trying to push the Kat's
as while OMP had them it was the best profile for its size !!

well, guess what, it still is, what makes the airplane great flyer and quality is not the one who sells it
but the ones who produces it.
The Kat's will be soon back in stock in USA and its important for many to know.

If you reread my post i say "if they arent there yet im sure they are on their way probably taking preorders now" so if you reread it again you may understand that i was trying to say they are either there or on the water or at the warf or being unpacked ! Either way the best flying all out 3D Profile for its Class still Available at www.3dxhobbies.com maybe someone from 3DX can throw somelight on this issue for Mister Wessco[&:]

I'd vote for the OMP Ultimate as the best profile in this size; however, that's my opinion.

How definite is this Brent? Any details you care to share? My kit is still in the box, but I might be tempted to spring for an ARF as well.

Read Above. I think Mike said enough.

Build your kit. 2 is always better than one!! I've always got a back-up on my favorite plane.

Yeah, it is winter and building is fun! I'm building a 65" Yak kit for John Drake right now. We have plenty of ARFs in stock but since it is winter in OH, you gotta do something since flying is mostly out.
