Redline is about 26000 RPM, and Traxxas wisely does not make claims as to horsepower. They do, however, claim the 3.3 gives 60% more power that the 2.5. Look on their website under the products button, then nitro, then scroll down to the 3.3- I think they still have the specs up for this mill. Don't be swayed by what you read about the 3.3 on RC forums- It's a good motor, as good as any I've used-'cept my beloved Picco .26, that is!

I agree! My experiance with this motor in a Revo, and brand new in my S-Maxx has been great! I got more out of it on the S-Maxx because it is a lot lighter than the Revo.

Easy to break in, easy to tune and gives a ton more power over my 2.5. If you get it with a pull start.... good luck starting it!

SPLdrag, the 3.3 was dynoed at .96HP (if I remember correct) it was under 1HP for sure,

EDIT: I just found a dyno of the 3.3 and it was .97HP@ 31,000rpm, 37in/oz and 37,000rpm

those are not the exact numbers, mainly the rpms but there with in 1,000rpms and the torque was like 37.54 or somthing like that.

your OS 12TR couldn't put out anywhere near 1.1HP thats advertising for you. it would really put out like 0.5 - 0.6HP the OS 12 Speed only puts out 1.02HP Heres a link with a few dynos http://www.nitrodynesystems.com/Engine%20Database.htm
