RE: Speed Freaks Wanted- Over 150 Members already !
It was a tough year on planes for me...
Sonic 500 blew the wing off only a Jett SS 40 only on the nose
UK Magnum #1 Elevator servo failure sank into the grass runway...JETT 50 survived!
UK Magnum #2 Pilot Error got too close to the grass runway... JETT 50 survived!
************************************************** ****************
UK Magnum #3 Done and ready for flight, JETT 50 rides again!

Guys,
I just got awsome news!
As many of you know I have been slowly getting involved in pylon racing over the last three years with the last six months advancing into NMPRA events (Club 40, Q25, and 424). Since I am enjoying the benifiets of an organization I felt I should join said organization (similar to my membership in AMA).
Here is the good news...upon humble request I got my Revver Brotherhood number 41 as my NMPRA race number! I realize there are over 200 of us with numbers out there and only a few really show it off but I have been fond of the brotherhood and proudly displayed this number on all of my speed/race planes since I got it and now I am able to continue doing it in an official sanctioned way.
Thanks Revvers and NMPRA for the consistant identity![sm=thumbup.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]

hey dave and razor! between health issues and a severe financial crisis, flying has been the big loser. i still get a flight or two in every couple of months, but i hoping the new year will bring a better way of life here!. i pretty much quit with the internet during the site wars and the power kick some people were on were just a huge problem feeding a severe caase of depression. as stated i am back on the net and hopefully back in the air! btw i would never have guessed #7!

After the last 4 posts, I think that I am home!!! I too fly better with a few toddies than none at all. We sometimes fly in a rock Quarry behind my house and the guys that work there even leveled it off for us!

Hi Strykaas
The Tigershark is made by Weston UK, same brand as the Magnum its installed with a Rossi 53 with Tuned Pipe as can been seen in the pic above, as of yet havent clocked the speed, but its by far the fastest at my club nothing even comes close...
I will try to get a video soon
This is a video of one but im sure mine is faster with the rossi

Dragon,
I own one too, but "build" (lol) is stalled. I face severe covering problems (wrinkles). I hope to be able to iron them out with a needle and my covering iron.
What's more, elevons are VERY tight [:@], which does cause me concern, I'll have to remove them and rehinge them. That sucks for such an expensive ARF.
Did you have the same troubles ?
Regarding the engine, I still hesitate, but I might end up with my SJ 50 / red muffler. Maybe I'll maiden it with an already broken in engine to get used to this airframe.
Did you abide by the advocated throws btw ? And cg as well ?
thx
Nice vid ! But the pipe makes a strange shaking noise on low-middle rpm... What's wrong ?
