anyone else still having trouble with posting here ....really get sick of loosing posts .....gave up twice yesterday.
Can't help but think it may be something to do with my duplexed internet connection (download comes off the satellite) ......when I turn it off and run on dialup I have no problems.

really is getting too damn hard to run internet access in the aussie bush with all this crap you need....not even the average computer tech can fathom this system and help me .......I'm of the opinion we ought to stop sending the cities any more bloody milk until they fix a few bloody things......and you bloody watch how fast they bloody wireless network the rural bloody sector if we stop the milk!@![>:] ........did I miss a bloody anywhere?

Bloody good job Machette.. Maybe you could fashion some floats for the EZ* or Minimag and do touch and goes in your dam....now that would be cool.

How hard is a sukhoi to fly Bleary?....I take it it's no lard arse.......I'd probably need to stay away from the bloody fences though

Woodsys not here today is he? [8D] good .....I finally wrenched the pentax from my daughters hands and have been playing around .......best Woodsy doesn't see this little guy who scarred the crap out of me last night ......sitting on the charger in the darkness and I felt something while pulling the lead and turned the light on to see this guy.

....scarred the crap outa me...and I'm not scarred of spiders, usually ....but wolf spiders have big egos and jump at you.
Shame I wasn't able to get a good sharp pic but i think my hand was still shaking

(also wanted to see if I can still load a pic with the changes I just made.)

Machette I am not sure which version of the Sukhoi it is,but they are pretty twitchy mate,I would perhaps steer you towards something with an Extra type wing rather than the severe taper of the Sukhoi or Yak...it makes em snap well, but makes em a bit of a handful really...herding a bunch of cats comes to mind actually..
Mate, that spider is a monster! and they leap at you??[X(][X(]
I'm gonna have frickin nightmares now...holy batcrap,scary stuff...lookit his fangs...[X(]
Keep the farker over there thanks.

Fence was so loose it sort of caught the plane rather softly.....the brunt was taken by the canopy getting shredded (trying to reassembly all the balls now)....the rest of the plane didn't touch the fence and it just swung/hung on the barb top wire.......didn't even fall on the ground.......no damage and a complete fluke

Bleary, me and cats get on ok ......I'm a little offended that you think I'm that useless. []

....I'm gunna get it anyway...winters just around the corner and I'm always short of kindling

Sukhoi is sold pending payment.
This is the electric version of hte blackhorse sukhoi, very hard to find pics of on the net.
With a slightly forward CG its no hard to fly than my minipulse and actually is easier to land in smaller spaces than the pulse.
With a arft CG its a good 3d machine with no real bad tendancies.
Its fairly light for a plane of tis size too.

Still have the arf gws f-15 as new in a box if any one is keen.

Missus has been nagging me about space and i figure i have had it for 2 months and havent built it so its got to go as well.

that's a crap colour too

I broke the landing gear off my MUS again this morning......I have been glueing it back together lightly with aquadhere so as she disassembles itself nicely on impact but I'm thinking I'm proficient enough to move on to something stronger than aquadhere.
What's this gorilla goo (or whatever it's called).....is there something between aquadhere and epoxy ( I hate epoxy as it's the last thing to break) ......the landing gear was only knocked off by a clump of grass ......maybe I'll revert to rubber bands to mount the u/c.

All the electrics on teh su-31 are only 2 weeks old, servos are over kill high tourqe metal gears, but least they will out last the plane i guess.

Overkill is nice, looks like a nice plane.Machette the foaming/gorilla glue type stuff is Aquadere Durabond (from Bunnings) it reacts with water and foams/fills gaps and is light and strong.Same bottle as the other stuff, but with a green and beige label.works well,is light and won't melt foam. The other option would be to epoxy the LG mount in,and use plastic bolts to hold it in the plane...bust the bolts, not the LG mount...
Cheers,
Bleary.

Cool Vid machette,
No damage I take it ?

FINALLY got a windless morning down these parts, and not to hot at 9:30 so had the Slowy out and then the Mustang. Glorious day for not being at work!
Put a new Hitec Electron 6 on the Slowy (Had it in the DR1 ... that poor bird will never get to fly) and it range tested fine off my Optic6.

I don't know what's going on with this Tx one minute fine and the next crap. Still keen on a DX7 .. but maybe wait a while .. bit broke at the minute .. Bloody wifes car did the alternator a couple of days back .. there goes my new Tx <sob>

Attached a couple of pics from this mornings fly ..

Shame it's 41 degrees and windy now .. just rebuilt my Super Cub and eager to test her out ..

Cheerio chaps ....
