Very nice setup. Any .2 or faster servo is fine for throttle.

Oh and they all say "FF and scale like flying only, no 3D"

id get another 9252, there great servos. that way all of your controls are working at the same speed

YS just released the 50ST, according to them its fuel injected! don't know if they are off backorder but just thought id throw that out there. The OS 50 Hyper is a great engine too, tons of power and that OS quality they are famous for.

I agree 9252's are great servos for cyclical control, but I think they would be a littlle overkill for a throttle servo. You can buy a much cheaper reliable servo that will get the job done just as well. Unless you are using a governer it's a waste of money. You also want the throttle to work faster than the collective, so the engine stays ahead of the pitch.

I belive they are refering to a pumped engine when they say fuel njection. A true fuel injection system would be way to complicated and heavy for model heli use.

OS MAX 140 and 160 FI engines have been equipped with electronic fuel injection systems for some time....

....but you are right, they are bigger than the average heli user would require.

The YS50ST uses crankcase pressure instead of muffler pressure and a regulator system. Gives much better mixture consistency than the OS Hyper. Very smooth power....I love mine.

The throttle servo will ALWAYS be ahead of the collective if you use the same servos due to the much lighter torque loading.

Hi,
Set up your throttle servo with end points around 80-80, and your collective end points around 120-120. The throttle servo will be ahead of the pitch so much you can see it when you move the stick. Also, set up is easy if you aim for it from the start, ie servo arm length/ball position selection.
