current project... 08 drift nutz mustang.
still to be done:
lights and light buckets
some grille work (can't give that away)
probably some swp wheels
drift nutz decals
rcdriftclub decals
maybe a wing
hood scoop work
let me know what u guys think
the colors are black and flat gold, the paint scheme is loosely based on the boss mustangs

Looking good so far but do all that stuff you listed there and it will really make me drool. I would avoid any kind of wing and go easy on the decals. A wheel swap is definatly needed as well. I mean who doesn’t have a set of TE37's Lol.

Here is my WIP, obviously a Z-tune R34. The masking is far from completed and still needs more sanding on the wheel arches but you get the idea. Most everything that is masked in blue will be black and I want the main color to be gunmetal grey. I have some tint that I will use to do the windows and smoke the light buckets. Also have to mask the front splitter. One thing is for sure this thing will be going wingless [sm=thumbup.gif]
And ya I like to cut then paint. [sm=stupid.gif]

This same stuff has worked fine for me before. I just spray it on real thin and give each coat a day or so to dry. You also have to be careful of where the tape overlaps. What do you usually use?

I've been using blue tape for years now. And never had a problem. I've had more problems with the Tamiya window masks then the ones I make my self.

i tried using both type of tape. i think the tamiya ones works better, but the blue painters tape works well 2 if you use a blow dryer and blow the painters tape after applying.
WORKS GREAT!
