What I want to know is if they fixed the CCPM performance problems and if it has 2048 resolution. If not, then it won't compete with the X9303 when it comes to heli pilots.

Think i will hold on to my 9C.Stiff price for an extra ch. Don't need 2.4 cause there are only 11 radios's where i fly an our ch are far apart.Never had a hit on ppm or pcm.So i will keep it

I just got my 10C from Futaba, with the 2.4 module and 14 channel receiver, which is 2048 resolution. The 72 module from both my 9C and 9Z's plug in and work just fine at 1024 resolution.
There is way more programming than the 9C and 9Z either have. The display is much larger, brighter and easier to read. I have already upgraded to a 64K campac, which automatically will be identified and be reset after installation. It is the futaba campac from my 9Z. It will not read 9Z programming, but will read 9C programming which can be copied into the radio.
Aftermarket 2.4 module from Assan will not fit, since the pins are larger on the 10C, than the module will allow. The module that came with the radio is very easy to remove and reinstall, for changing between 72mhz and 2.4.
I just ordered a 256 campac from Hansen hobbies, since I have one in my 9Z and love all the features it offers. The futaba instruction manual says you can use a 16/64/128 campac, but futaba and tower neither one list anything but the 16 for sale. Since the hansen 64K and Futaba 64K both seem to work just fine in the 10C, I am hoping to have no issues with their 64X4 selectable (256K total) unit.
I have already ordered another receiver, so I will slowly transition over to all Futaba, from my 9Z on the 2.4 8 channel set up. Since the receivers are $199 each, the budget gets in the way of changing over everything I have (nearly 30 planes) to all futaba 10C.
The radio feels like the same weight at the 9C and is almost identical in size, much lighter than the 9Z.
Now just need to get over the crud and the wind to stop blowing to start trimming planes on my new radio.

RE: Futaba 10C Official Thread: Press release inside!
Mike,
Before getting carried away with buying more 6014 Rxs read this thread [link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7908536/tm.htm[/link]
Here is the Futaba "fix" for thermal bind failure [link]http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/tm14-manual.pdf[/link]
I also used the 64K CAMPAC from my 9Z. The 10C is now installed in a beater test bed ready for flight test.
Man after all the struggles programing the 9Z the 10C was a pleasure to work with.
Programing so simple even a JR user could do it.

I have been flying my 10C for about a month and love it. The screen is very easy to read, I was a former 9Z user. I like the idea of being able to use either the 72MHZ or the 2.4 GH modules.

I've had my 10C since June and I love it, but I sold the R6014fs rx and with that money I bought two R608fs rx. Both work great in both my planes and no binding or loss of signal problems.

Ok I got my new 10C and with the new 7 point curves which are driving me nuts, I would like to change my throw on my swash servos because 88 is my max throw that i can set on my pitch curve without binding. Should I use the AFR or the End Points so I can get 100 on my max pitch curve?

I quote from your post,"There is way more programming than the 9C and 9Z either have."..I dont want to appear rude but if you think the 10c has more feactures than the 9zap then you have not read the manual.I have a 9zap ,it has "conditions"which the 10c doesent..if you dont know what conditions are look them up on the futaba site. You can only get these now on the 12fg and above..the 10c is only an upgrade from the 9c not the 9z.I have a tm8 fasst module in the zap ,this combo makes it a very powerfull 2.4ghz radio.
Hope this helps you all...FG
