RE: My third airboat
Hi,
Now I would like the help of experienced in airboat with one rudder out of the water.
I need to change the position of the engine in my aerobarco?
I want to mount the support of the engine and if any place has a degree closer.
I do not know whether to stick or Zero degree desloco to right or to left ????? and if transfer, approximately how many degrees?

RE: My third airboat
When I build a boat I try to get everything as flat and square and true as I can . I set the engine so it is also at 0* in all directions . I make the balance point about 25-30% from the transom . I then take it out and run it . If there is a problem THEN I start making adjustments .

Im glad to report that i also have something very similar brewing as your project! But ofcourse in an electric version this time on a slightly larger scale.
This MissTake project has taken me so long to complete it, i guess in the end i decided on a different path and swaped that GP-42 for this 900kv version of the chineese turnigy outrunners. I hope to get it
wet soon. I tried it under its own power on my living room floor, seems to have more than enough strenth and im happy
Take care Tom.

Tommy gallagher......
I wonder what center of gravity of your boat and if the alignment of the engine is zero degrees

Let me see, The boat is 28.5in lenth. It wants to balance at around 35% back from the transom in my case its around 10in. Tha is exaclty where the prop is swinging over the c.g. mark.
Since you asked about the angle of the thrust line, i guess it points up a couple of degrees, nothing serious.
