that's not "everything" but, I'll guess somewhere around $100, I paid 200 for mine at the LHS and got 2 servos, 2 recievers, the battery pack, a switch, and the unit itself, and I've seen the full kit on ebay for around 150ish....

Congrats on the purchase. It's great when people ask, "What channel are you running?" I get to say, "It's an FM unit. You won't have to worry about me." [)]

Knightfall, you mean DSM unit? Spektrum is DSM (Delta Signal Modulation), not FM. FM still has to worry about channel.
I don't know what you paid. How about just telling us?

I picked up a new set as well.. Went with the 3PM FASST.. It was that or the DX3.. FASST is constantly scanning for channels.. but im sure the dx3 is just as good

how much did you have to drop to get that DX3R? and correct me if I'm wrong, please, doesn't it have the larger screen for telemetry input like the Nomadio radios do? (it's one reason I almost went nomadio instead of spektrum)

i have a dx3R its pretty good there is so many adjustments that you can do on the fine tuning of your steering , throttle and brake , that you never would have known existed from using junk like fm and am crystal radios lol

I think its compatible with the optional spektrum telemetry system, but I didnt see any telemetry stuff on it. As for responce rate its really hard to see a diffrence. I know it responds faster when you turn it on though when linking to the receiver.
I havent ever used telemetry, not sure if it would even be useful for me. One thing I like is its super light. I beleive its the lightest radio out atm and it only uses 4 AA that last forever in it.
I got it for $300
